I will probably regret posting this, but I must at least wish each and everyone of you a Happy New Year. Odd years are always good years for me! Perhaps because I’m odd?
I wish you all the best in ‘09! I think it’ll be a terrific year. 2008 started out grand but ended on a bad note. It seems like yesterday, when I decided to move to Ireland. That got stifled by various agencies and people. However, some good did come out of me being jobless for five months.
I have a greater appreciation for mother earth. I live on less income than I ever have before. I used to spend…spend…spend ‘til them ol’ credit cards were nothing but smoldering ashes. I think most people have learned to conserve in these hard times.
In 2009, I hope to have as much fun as possible. I’ve gone way too long without good Craic! I will detail my plans for 2009 tomorrow.
For those of you that have given up on me, please don’t. I have been a solitary creature these last few months. I apologise for such behavior. I’ve been in a bit blue lately. I promise to be a better friend to you all in the future.
Anyhew, have a happy new year everyone. I’ll be posting my resolutions for ‘09 tomorrow.
Ah JD. Time is a human construct and apart from ageing, means little. I wish you luck, perseverance and good fortune for the coming year. You can do whatever you want if your determination is strong enough. Good times ahead if you ‘will’ them . . happy new year possum!
Good health and good fun for 2009.
@Baino Did you have a lovely new year?
@Grannymar Thanks. I wish the same for you.
Oh the resolutions!! I never made them before, not really giving that much of a crap about things to come and how I should be interacting with them.
By Jehovah do I have some now though!
JD hope you have the best year ever! Happy 2009.
Last year’s mishaps; you know what they say, what doesn’t break you makes you stronger. It’s true, it happened to me before and I came out much stronger I think. You have it in you to have a good craic so, this year will be the best ever.
Great photos by the way (these and the ones on the most current post)
@K8 Resolutions are grand, if we make an attempt to hold to ‘em.
@Gayé Thanks for the kind words. I reckon, like you, that our mishaps make us stronger. In that case, I should be damn strong.
