I officially have one month of school left. I love learning, but the fact that the educators lay the deluge of papers and test at the end of every semester, drives me mad. (It’s not a far drive, mind you.) However, through the countless hours of research, writing, and studying, my penchant fervour for photography and writing has not wained. I go through times of sheer delusion, but I always come out with an exuberant taste for life and an appreciation of what I love the most.
I have way too much studying to do, so I’ll leave you all with a few pictures I captured over a couple of days, one of which is a mosaic of myself.

Gorgeous! Some beautiful and evocative shots, JD – I love the one of the bridge vanishing into the night.
Good luck with the studying – hope it all goes well!
PS being driven mad is entirely relative!
Oooh spooky mosaic . . .I really must master Photoshop. We’re in the study zone over here too, DrummerBoy has his last exams for Uni and the pressure’s on. It’ll be worth it in the end!
Vanilla, thank you. I do love that bridge. It is the longest walking suspension bridge of its kind in the US. I’m not mad or sad, just glad that it’ll all be over soon.
Baino, I am spooky.
I will be posting a photoshop tutorial in the next couple of days. I’m just trying to figure out whether I want to do it in screenshots or a video. Yep, the panic button has been pressed over here as well.
My poor dog doesn’t see much of me.
I felt like I should pick up that one little piece on top of the right iris and turn it over and put it back on to complete the puzzle.
Brilliant photos, loved the first one, so many colors in the night.
G
PS: Good luck with all the exams and studying.
Gaye, thank you for the lovely comment. The mosaic isn’t perfect, but neither am I.
Imperfections are a good thing sometimes. Colours of the night are the best. A flash on any camera is an immortal sin! So much can be seen and captured without a flash. Also, thanks for the good luck on exams. I need all the luck and good blessings I can get. I always do good, but the last couple of weeks are always a nightmare.
*giggle* no no, the upside down piece comment wasn’t a sign of me making it perfect, but rather it was my OCD taking over a bit. On the other hand, I am a virgo and a perfectionist and yet, having half a brain means I know there is no such thing as perfect. Result? A veritable quandary of my own.
I like to hear the confidence in your voice and I am sure you won’t do anything but great!
Been slack on my blog, very busy translating these days. I am sure the few people that visit gaudium will give up on me soon.
