Folks, I sincerely apologise (No I don’t) for the last post. Burdensome dark clouds were weighing heavily upon my shoulders yesterday, so I stupidly wrote the previous post. I got what I was searching for. I won’t go into it, as it is too personal.
Anyhow, I was off of work today, so I drove downtown, did a bit of shopping, eating (Oh God, the ice cream in a following picture was absolutely fabulous.), and went for a long walk along the rivers edge. I did manage to snap a few pictures, whilst trying not to get overrun by a herd of school children. Ah, another gorgeous day downtown. Little monsters.

That ice cream looks like my small intestine.
Well, it must have been the best damn small intestine I’ve ever eaten.
Awesome Ice cream!
I was going to ask you to share your ice cream – until I read that comment about Phil’s intestine. Now I’m just going to be flamboyantly ill!
Cool… we have pretty much the exact same statue here in Dublin, of Patrick Kavenagh(Irish poet) sitting on a bench beside a canal that looks absolutely nothing like the one in your photo
I love that park. But it too hot to be outside according to the weather peeps. What kind of ice cream was that anyway?
AV(&A), his comment ruined it for me as well.
K8 the Gr8, I have read Mr. Kavenagh’s poems several times over the years. I really love his work. I love his poems about the countryside, since I am just a mere country boy, myself.
LatinWlf, it was coffee ice cream, from “Good to the Last Drop”. They have the best coffee ice cream around. Now, the “Coffee Underground” has the best coffee in town.
