Bliss

Bliss

Nothing so hush as a lulling lakes whisper
Where ideas harp on a umbrageous night
And ambitions idly lie by a moonlit strand
Where I unthinkingly dwelled out of view

I brooded in the murky depths of a cheerful moon
And drew the fogs border with my rigid digit
To descend into an ageless blithe in tranquil silence
Only to awake neath the vigilance of Spica, so subdued

I looked across this lonely lake
At the sight of a black thorn bush alone
Standing lofty against a moon kissed rock
Standing atop the manifold stone

And black it was, taunting the night
For supremacy of this ashen paradise
And I stood in awe at this awesome sight
Before falling back into ballast mind

And in this apollonian home
I found a world within a world
Where dreams lived in a night so bold
In a budding eglantine that fore uncoiled

And uncurled at once to unveil a day
That lifted the blanket of night born travesty
And this illogical apogee of time
Only serves to decorate my overt majesty.
