Bashful Trochilidae

Today, I patiently sat for about an hour, trying to capture the gorgeous hummingbirds that frequent my garden. After only capturing one very shy bird, I gave up and got out of the heat. It’s been hovering between 34 and 38 degrees Celsius here over the past few weeks. In other words, It’s hellishly hot! Have a grand Sunday all… :)

P.S.: Bees are not bashful!

  1. Hummingbirds are so cuuuuuute. You’re lucky to have them in your garden . . I just have chicken sized cockatoos! Now Wingnut, is this what constitutes ‘causing mischief’ in your world?

  2. Yes, they are brilliant little creatures. Cockatoos are beautiful birds, Baino. You should snap a few wee photos of them.

Mischief? Well, I was out, chasing after a brunette. :) I chase women at night, and birds in the day. :)

    Thanks for the comment.

  3. WTF is 34 to 38 degrees? It’s really fucking cold is what it is! Noone in the civilized world uses celsius. Act right and use farenheit like normal people do. What are you all of a sudden Canadian?

  4. Jefferson just likes to get people to use their minds (or google). :)

What type of flowers are those pictured? Been stung by any bees you have photographed yet?
