Today, is one of my sisters birthday. Everyone, wish her a happy birthday. I’m sure she’ll strangle me , when she finds out I put her portrait on the blog, but that’s the price I pay, right!
Sister, sit for a cup of tea,
For what it is that I
see.
A vestige under the Moon,
Singing a danceable tune,
Not a ghost, but an angel,
A spirit joyful and free,
A heart of ecstasy and glee.
With deep respect I idolise you:
Your eyes glisten,
Like a crystalline blue
sea.
That Northern Star above us,
A Star of Honour, a star so bright.
This eternal cosmos you observe,
With your Comeliness and Might.
I often discover you on the range,
Doing your Solitary Dance,
In a strange scent of coolness,
To the Moon Goddess’ shine.
Your selected mate and soul,
So dependable the Dual Divine.
I bow to Your Highness, my Lady;
You return with a graceful curtsy.
Your face blushes like rose petals;
Smile and up you hop and bounce,
With a spell of Strength and Compassion,
You spin my body and soul round and round.
Your snickers, twirls, and motions,
Echo the sounds and rhythms of nature.
With whirling tunes and plunging dynamics
The Spirit, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth;
Draw us into a wondrous Universe.
In the shadow of my finite existence,
I finally see in you…
My Guiding Sprite of Light!

Hi Jeffy,
How many sisters do you have?
This is a beautiful poem full of sparkly love and I’m sure you have a wonderful relationship with your sis.
Yes, please wish her for me. Tell her I said, Happy Birthday and I hope all her dreams will come true.
Happy Birthday Sis!!!
Have a great day!
Susan, thank you for the wonderful comment. I have five sisters. The one in the portrait is sister number one. Thanks.
Brain, thanks for the comment. I will pass your good wishes along to her.
Hi Jeffy,
Does that make you the spoilt baby brother?:-)
I may be spoiled, but it’s only because I’m the oldest!
The sister in question is twenty-five.
