This Haiku is a rough draft.  I tend to scribble down thoughts, when I have them.  Later, I try to put the pieces back together, which is a task within itself. 

Eyes that scintillate

like splendid diamonds carved

from the Sun itself

Dazed by your brilliance

I staggered into the shade

to prise your beauty

Now, in the darkness

I relaise what is absent

from my existence
